Turn Racing

US boutique sim racing hardware maker founded by Zach Hodgson, known for ergonomic R305/R320 GT wheel rims, the BP2 button plate, TDU5 dash, and open-source DIY CAD wiki.

About Turn Racing

Founded by Zach Hodgson (originating in 2016 as a custom wheel passion project in Illinois and later operating out of Kensington, Minnesota as Turn Racing LLC), Turn Racing gained a devoted following for high-value, motorsport-grade sim racing steering wheels and accessories before winding down commercial production in 2025. Its hardware lineup centers on the open-top 305mm R305 (evolved from the R20/R20 Evo) and 320mm R320 steering wheel rims with zero-maintenance molded polyurethane rubber grips, the carbon-reinforced BP2 USB button plate with hall-effect magnetic shifters, and the 5-inch SimHub-compatible TDU5 digital dash display. Beyond retail hardware, Turn Racing hosts one of sim racing's largest open-source DIY maker communities via its Discord server and 62-page GitHub DIY Wiki containing free STEP/DXF CAD files and wiring schematics for replica GT3 and prototype wheels.
