The Track AVL

Founded in late 2020 by Joel and Ruth Bergstein at 9 Reed St. in Asheville's Biltmore Village, The Track at Asheville operated networked racing simulators divided into Standard Rigs (34-inch ultrawide monitors with force-feedback wheels) and Advanced Rigs (triple 32-inch panoramic screens, direct-drive wheelbases, load-cell pedals, and dual seat/pedal bass shakers). The center hosted 120-minute Intro to Sim sessions, Grand Prix weekend Formula 1 progression experiences, themed Drop-In Races (Classic Thursdays, Far Out Fridays, Standard Saturdays), 6-hour endurance events, 1-on-1 driver coaching, and tiered monthly memberships. Following the devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene on Biltmore Village, the physical facility permanently closed while its community continues to organize online sim racing, watch parties, and karting meetups via Discord.
