About RaceGrid
Founded in November 2019 by Karl Beardmore and John Robinson in Newcastle-under-Lyme before expanding into the GameGrid hub on Clough Street in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, RaceGrid (RaceGrid VR) is Staffordshire's dedicated virtual reality motorsport venue. Its networked racing pods pair Simucube Direct Drive wheelbases and Fanatec F1 carbon steering wheels with vibration-motor Fanatec ClubSport V3 pedals, tactile bass-shaker seats, directional speed-sensitive wind fans, and 2160x2160 HP Reverb VR headsets. Drivers can choose from over 200 GT, open-wheel, rallycross, and road cars across 100+ tracks—including Silverstone, Oulton Park, Donington Park, and Cadwell Park—while tracking personal bests and competing in monthly hot-lap leaderboards via the venue's custom online Paddock stats portal.
