RaceDepartment

Founded in April 2006 in the Netherlands by Bram Hengeveld and unified with Cologne-based OverTake.gg in March 2024, RaceDepartment built the world's largest PC sim racing community, discussion forum, and user-created mod repository. Hosting more than 70,000 community-created cars, tracks, liveries, apps, and plugins for Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, Assetto Corsa EVO, rFactor 2, Automobilista 2, Le Mans Ultimate, and the EA Sports F1 series, the platform has served millions of virtual racers for nearly two decades. Alongside daily sim racing journalism and hardware reviews, RaceDepartment pioneered organized Racing Club multiplayer events and flagship endurance championships like the RaceDepartment Le Mans Series (RDLMS), all of which continue today under the unified OverTake.gg platform.
