I-WAY World

Inaugurated in July 2008 in Lyon's 9th arrondissement (with a second venue in Paris Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines), I-WAY World is a 5,000 m² simulation complex famously engineered around 18 full-scale 6-DOF hydraulic motion racing simulators—spanning 6 Formula 1 single-seaters, 6 Endurance LMP1 Pescarolo prototypes, and 6 ORECA-prepared Citroën C2 Super 1600 Rally cars—mounted on 6-axis motion platforms rising over 2 meters to generate up to 2G of force. Each simulator bay features real race car chassis, panoramic triple or quad wraparound projection screens, 100+ dB surround sound, full driver race gear (suit, helmet, gloves, shoes), and linked Team Manager pit-wall telemetry and radio consoles. Alongside its automotive racing grids and full-scale F1 Pit Stop wheel-change challenges, I-WAY operates 4 full-size MotoGP 60° lean-angle simulators (co-developed with 500cc World Champion Àlex Crivillé and Yamaha MotoGP chief mechanic Javier Ullate), 3 F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet domes, VR arenas, and corporate event spaces.
